The Plan!!!

OK, so our agency sent us our Inner China Itinerary with the details of what we will be doing each day while in China. I posted to the side of our blog all the details so everyone can keep up with where we are each day. It looks like we meet Shiloh on the 22nd which is disappointing. I was so hoping for the 20th or 21st. Evidently something is going on where the orphanage cannot get her to us on the 21st. (Bummer!) Oh well, we have waited over 2 years, so we will add one more day. The good thing is maybe we can tour the markets and shops for the things we will need prior to getting her. I guess it also gives us a little chance to rest up in case she does not sleep well.

The Legacy Of An Adopted Child

Once there were two women who never knew each other,
One you do not remember, the other you call mother.
Two different lives shaped to make you one;
One became your guiding star, and one became your sun.
The first one gave you life and the second taught you to live it
The first gave you a need for love, and the other was there to give it.
One gave you a nationality, the other gave you a name,

There’s a little girl trembling on a cold December morn
Crying for Mama’s arms
At an orphanage just outside a little china town
Where the forgotten are
But half a world away I hang the stockings by the fire
