Beijing Touchdown!!!! We are here!

We are here and exhausted! Hi Mom and Dakota!!!! We love you both! Nana, Poppy got his father's day card! (He loves you all too!) The flight was something else....those of you who have done this before didn't stress enough what a monster it was! I can usually sleep anywhere, but packed in like sardines in a hot plane was just not what I expected. We might have watched a movie but it was Chinese Television something that resembled "Petticoat Junction" but of course no sound, and then we can talk about the food on the plane.....remember we flew AirChina. When I turned my nose up, Dad told me to just pretend I was on Survivor. Oh, and this is only the first day!! Here are some pictures to enjoy. I got to meet Christina and Ron and a few other families today, which made it extra special! Our guide Jessie said she saw Shiloh last week in Baotou and that she was "cute!" We just can't wait but for now we are exhausted! One picture is of the polar cap or at least close to it as we flew over. The other is me and Chuck after the flight and one is of Poppy crashed right after we got to the hotel. We are headed to the Summer Palace for a tour tomorrow. More later...for now sleep! Love to all--keep praying for Shiloh to love us!
Kim, Chuck and Poppy!

Dear Kim ,Chuck and Tony,
I am so glad to hear that you made it there safely!!! It is an unbelieveable trip!!!!!! There really are no words that can describe it well! Now do you see why I brought peanut butter sandwiches and stressed bringing your own food????? REAL Chinese food is nothing like the Chinese food you eat here!!! I felt like I was driving you crazy about taking enough food and now you know why!!!! As soon as you can, find a KFC and pig out!!!!!That and McDonalds were my saving grace!!!
Have a great time touring Beijing!!! I am so jealous! I know you will take great pictures to share!!!! Once you have Shiloh in your arms, it will be worth all the bad stuff you have to go through!!! Just think of it as your first 24 hours of labor!!!!! Your last 24 hours of labor will be your flight home!!!!
YOU CAN DO IT KIM!!!!!!!! HANG IN THERE!!!!!!!
Love, Kathy

The flights are like childbirth you sorta forget when you get your baby. I'm super happy for y'all. Lots of prayers and hugs coming your way. I don't think you can read this anyway...but love y'all.
